1. Blank piece; MLA format. Title: Numero-Poomba-Snitch
2. Mrs. H. will put you into groups (except for two people). As soon as you're in your group, make sure everyone has a piece of SCRATCH PAPER and their piece of paper set up in MLA.
3. The group's GRAND POOMBA is the only person who can TALK. The GRAND POOMBA is the SHORTEST member of the group.
4. The group SNITCH is the person in charge of keeping everyone SILENT. The SNITCH is the OLDEST member of the group.
5. Your group's FIRST TASK is to come up with a TEAM NAME. Remember, you can't talk . . . but you can pass notes.
6. To earn credit for this activity, you have to turn in your piece of paper with EVERY ANSWER WRITTEN DOWN CORRECTLY.
7. I will have three helpers: the NUMERO MASTER (in charge of keeping score), and the CLIPBOARD KID (in charge of writing down every correct answer in order for me to use as a key later). The NUMERO MASTER is able to DEDUCT POINTS from groups who are talking! :)
Correct Answer = 5 Points
Incorrect Answer = 0 Points
Talking or Whispering = -2 Points per Offense
If you get an answer wrong, you don't earn points, but you lose your turn. The play continues to the next team. If they answer incorrectly, they lose their turn, as well. If they answer correctly, they earn 5 points PLUS have a chance to answer their OWN question.
