Activity 1: Using the Scrutineyes cards to find topic, write as many simple sentences as you can.
Activity 2: Using the Apples to Apples cards, write as many compound sentences as you can.
Activity 3: Using the toy box to find topics, write as many complex sentences as you can.
Activity 4: Complete questions 1-10 on page 199 of Language Network.
Activity 5: Write as many Sentence Structure test questions as you can.
Activity 6: Complete questions 1-5 on page 191 of Language Network.
Activity 7: Using the Scrutineyes cards to find topics, write as many compound  sentences as you can.
Activity 8: Using the Apples to Apples cards to find topics, write as many compound-complex sentences as you can.

Please get out your grammar from last night about COMPLEX sentences.  For your Quick Write this morning, write THREE compound sentences and THREE complex sentences.  Here are the TOPICS for each sentence:

1.  (CD) Write a sentence about Chico.

3.  (CD) Write a sentence about your favorite sports team.  (I expect every #3 sentence to be about THE GIANTS.)
